A project currently in development, intertwining slack rope and dance in a physical and poetic exploration of sand, conceived both as a scenic material and a metaphor for instability. The body engages in dialogue with the rope, moving through shifting balances, while the sand — hidden within the costumes — slips, falls, and disperses, reshaping the space and creating an ever-changing visual landscape. A body in shipwreck emerges, suspended between doubt and vulnerability, where instability becomes an act of resistance.
Following an initial phase of research and residencies (2025), the project will continue in 2026 with dramaturgical development, the creation of new scenes, and preview performances.
Debutto previsto nel 2027.
Recommended for contemporary circus festivals, evening programmes for adult audiences, and Sunday performances.

The collaboration with Giorgia Barbato is part of Madame Rebiné’s support programme for emerging artists under 35. Selected in collaboration with Progetto Slip and DO.C.C. (Documentation for Contemporary Circus), the production will be accompanied by a tailored support pathway, designed to meet the artist’s artistic, production and administrative needs.
