On the checkered floor of St. Mary’s Hospital squeak the wheels of old Claude’s bed, where he makes his last moves to checkmate the disease. Around the same bed Dr. Centi’s brisk hands fly at 120 beats per minute / bpm to administer the best treatment. In the corridors echoes Nurse Jhenny’s singing, and on the rhythm of her stilettoes personal dramas wobble.

Old Age Cycle
Since 2011, Madame Rebiné has been exploring the figure of the elderly as a poetic and comic icon, a natural clown filled with human contrasts: gentleness and harshness, altruism and selfishness, suffering and euphoria, fear and recklessness. This gives rise to performances and projects that give voice, space and dignity to the elderly.
